Portrait Session

Portrait Session

This is my beautiful sister. This is her portrait session.

She visited South Africa, from the Netherlands, for a few months to complete her internship in Cape Town. Right before she flew back home, she came to stay with me for a number of days – mostly just to cuddle her niece & nephew, I think ;).

I wanted to give her a leaving gift – something meaningful; something timeless; something that would transport her right back to the memories of these last six months.

Being a photographer, of course, one of the first things that comes to mind is photos – they speak 1000 words to me & reflect a thousand memories back at me. And so naturally, I decided on a photoshoot as a gift to remember her time in South Africa by.

Jannouk, I hope these images are everything you had hoped for them to be & that the memories awakened through these are ones of pure joy.

Maternity Photography – Ronè & Arnold

Maternity Photography – Ronè & Arnold

Ronè & Arnold are really good friends of mine. I met them 18 months ago just after I moved into Rustenburg. We have walked such a beautiful journey together, through some really difficult times, and some really joyous ones. Since then they have moved to Lydenburg – there aren’t many days that go by where I don’t long for a coffee and catch up with them.

A few weeks ago they came to Rustenburg for a visit, and of course, I couldn’t resist doing a mini maternity session, documenting Ronè’s (at the time) 21 week old preggy belly.

I can’t wait to meet this beautiful little girl forming inside you Ronè. I have no doubt that she’ll be an absolute blessing in your lives.
